Hey there, sweater enthusiast! 👋🧶

It’s me, Sidney Raz, back with another SWEATER LETTER—because newsletters are cool, but sweaters are wackier. Let’s dive into this week’s “things I wish I knew sooner” and cancer updates.

The lifehacks!

🧠 Oh, REALLY?

My two year picked this week!

This week, my daughter started using measuring tape to measure so many things! For some reason though everything from my foot to my head to my water bottle to my wife’s hair to my wife’s laptop was all “48 9 10”

I didn’t tell her about this lifehack but she was so focused that I didn’t want to distract her with any new information.

Here’s the trick: The size of the Tape Measure is on the tape measure. Every time I measure up to a corner I use this tip so I don’t have to bend the tape measure and confuse myself with all the lines the measurement COULD be.🤯

I made a video about it here: Watch it on Instagram!

Try it next time you measure a corner!

😮A life hack I saw this week

I’m served a lot of lifehacks in my algorithm so here’s one that I think you should know

Apparently if you light some dry coffee grounds on fire and let them smoke, they repel mosquitoes. I looked through comments and verified.

Here’s what I learned:

  • It’s tough to keep them lit

  • Used grounds may not work

  • Sprinkling them around a campsite works too

The updates!

I made it to European news

A few weeks ago I was asked to be interviewed for Euronews. It was great. It was the second day after my upper endoscopic ultrasound and my lip was swollen though.

Notes from my dietitian appointments

I learned this week how long I need to chew food after my surgery. It’s until my food is like apple sauce. That is so long, I’m sorry. My mouth is huge and I don’t chew all time. Learning new eating habits isn’t going to be fun but I can do it!

Until Next Time…

Go forth and impress your friends with your newfound knowledge!

Thanks for reading!
