Hey there, sweater enthusiast! 👋🧶

It’s me, Sidney Raz, back with another SWEATER LETTER—because newsletters are cool, but sweaters are wackier. Let’s dive into this week’s “things I wish I knew sooner” and cancer updates.

The Perfect Last Minute Mothers Day Gift!

The lifehacks!

🧠 Since When?!

I’ve known a few things since before I was in my thirties and I really thought this was one of them. Double knots are harder to untie and don’t really come untied unless you pick at the knot part.

NOPE.

Here’s the trick: Just pull the laces. It’s that simple.

I made a video about it here: Watch it on Instagram!

Let me now if you’re mad about this like I am.

😮PBS Knows I’m a Viewer like You

Last week we viewers of PBS found out some really sad news. Funding would be cut to children’s programming, and funding would be cut from local stations across the United States.

In this house, we stan PBS. So with the amazing help of Blair and Mychal, I had the opportunity to show our support the best way we could by spreading awareness. So I uploaded the video to Instagram and then PBS asked to be a collaborator. It was INSANE. If you’d like to show support for PBS please visit https://protectmypublicmedia.org/

The updates!

My Housing Problem

So this week I learned that I probably won’t be in my renovated home before my surgery. That means that I’ll be in a two bedroom one bath in a time when I’ll need a second bathroom REALLY bad. If you don’t know, or you’ve forgotten what it’s like to live with a toddler, they don’t care about emergency bathroom needs. So this is going to add a whole new level of complication to my recovery.

Until Next Time…

Go forth and impress your friends with your newfound knowledge! Let me know if there were any spelling errors so I can add them in next weeks #sidspellingerrors.

Thanks for reading!
